Jinxiu Tianfu Route C: five days from Jade Lake to Kuqa
Follow Jinxiu Tianfu’s D6–D10 Route C through Jade Lake, Xiata, Sayram and Kuqa, with the accommodation changes, lake activities and questions that shape the experience.

Jinxiu Tianfu's Jade Lake option gives this part of Xinjiang several different ways to look at a landscape. Water activities and a lakeside stay begin the section. Xiata follows, then the broader setting of Sayram Lake. The final days turn towards Kuqa's town, canyon and caves. The lake is the opening of a five-day sequence, rather than its entire content.
In the 2027 programme, Route C occupies D6 to D10 of the 16-day journey. Its practical interest lies in where each day ends and how the next visit connects. Reading the photographs beside the daily route and the overnight locations reveals why this section needs to be considered as a whole.
Before you begin
- C starts with Yizhao Highway and Jade Lake on D6, followed by Xiata on D7 and Sayram on D8.
- After Sayram, an overnight train connects to the Kuqa museum, town, canyon and cave visits.
- Muzitao is listed with an equivalent-hotel provision; rooms, boat details and dining arrangements need departure-specific confirmation.
Keep the first evening near Jade Lake
The D6 plan groups Yizhao Highway, a private Jade Lake cruise and a sunset dinner, with Muzitao Wilderness Luxury Resort or equivalent as the reference accommodation. Staying locally lets the evening form part of the visit, instead of requiring an immediate move to the next city. The useful way to assess this arrangement is through the relationship between visiting time and the overnight location.
The customer photographs offer several scales of information. A broad lake view shows the setting. Cabins on the slope suggest the form of the accommodation. A terrace picture helps explain the appeal of spending time outside a room. They are useful together, while the allocated building, room and direction of view belong in the accommodation confirmation.
The source describes a private cruise and a sunset dinner as experiences. Ask about the boat, dining location and timing for your departure. A photograph of activity on the lake does not establish that dinner is served on board that boat.

Read the five days through their overnight locations
The overnight pattern changes across C. Jade Lake is followed by Yining, the Sayram visit leads back to the train, and the Kuqa town day ends at a hotel. Visits and longer transfers alternate. For a traveller, the practical consequence is knowing on which days an overnight bag must remain available.
The table puts the daytime plan and evening connection beside each other. Muzitao's equivalent-hotel provision comes from the accommodation page of the customer presentation. Kuqa references in the current programme include Chaoyu Wanhua, Tianyuan International or equivalent. These are planning references; the final list establishes the actual properties and rooms.
| Day | Daytime plan | After the visits |
|---|---|---|
| D6 | Yizhao Highway, Jade Lake cruise and sunset dinner | Muzitao in Zhaosu or equivalent |
| D7 | Xiata Ancient Trail | Return to Yining; InterContinental or equivalent |
| D8 | Sayram Lake | Connect via Yining to the overnight Kuqa train |
| D9 | Qiuci Museum and Kuqa Old Town | A Kuqa hotel night |
| D10 | Kiziliya Canyon, refreshments and Kizil Caves | Rejoin the train towards Kashgar |

At Xiata, ask how the day is spent on the ground
D7 travels from Zhaosu to Xiata and finishes with a return to Yining for the night. The customer material introduces this section through snowy mountains, woodland, river valley and meadow. Its images of paths, water and distant peaks suggest a different distance of observation from the previous day's lake activity.
The useful questions behind the name “Xiata Ancient Trail” are which areas the visit reaches, how scenic-area transport is used and how much walking is planned. The published daily line does not promise the same long hike to every guest, nor does it list reaching the glacier's edge as a universal inclusion. Tell the team what sort of walking you hope to do so that the explanation can be made specific.
The return to Yining also belongs in the time calculation. If you hope to walk slowly or spend longer taking photographs, raise that preference while the arrangements are being discussed. The team can then explain what fits within the day, including the onward drive and hotel arrival.

Sayram falls on D8, which changes the hotel expectation
On C, Sayram Lake comes on D8. A and B begin their Ili section there on D6. This change in order affects the nights as well as the sightseeing: C connects back to the railway after the lake visit, with the train as the overnight arrangement. It does not automatically include the lake-area hotel night shown in the A and B tables.
Compare the Jade Lake stay and the Sayram stay as separate choices. The former is an important part of C's opening; the latter belongs to the rhythm of other options. Where you most want an evening near water can therefore influence where you would choose to spend the night.
D8 contains both landscape viewing and boarding. Keep photography essentials easy to reach and follow the reporting points in your departure information. Pictures can help identify scenes that interest you, while sunrise access, sunset access and a particular duration around the lake require a specific timetable.

Make room for Kuqa after the lakes
After the overnight railway transfer, D9 lists Qiuci Museum and Kuqa Old Town. A museum and a street district offer different visiting environments. One centres on displays and interpretation; the other provides architecture and everyday urban surroundings to observe. Reading them together explains the shift from natural landscape towards the town's cultural context.
D10 lists Kiziliya Grand Canyon, a curated refreshment break and Kizil Thousand-Buddha Caves, followed by another return to the train. The canyon and caves are separate destinations, with their own visiting and photography requirements. Images of red rock or murals introduce the subject; access for the day is established through the actual arrangements.
C therefore needs a wider assessment than the appeal of one cabin beside a lake. It connects two days around Zhaosu, the Sayram transfer day and two days at Kuqa. Consider the cultural content at the end alongside the lakeside experience at the start.

Compare how the first three days are used
Looking at D6 to D8 alone makes the choices clearer. A begins with Sayram and Nalati before advancing towards Bayin and the Duku road. B uses Kalajun and Kuerdening, or further Nalati visits, depending on the season. C puts Jade Lake near Zhaosu and Xiata before Sayram.
If the priority is an evening near Jade Lake followed by a Xiata visit, C has a direct match in its published plan. If a continuous road crossing matters most, compare A. If companions prefer grassland or woodland activities, examine both B editions. These are choices about the use of time, which tells you more than adding up destination names.
The Urumqi and Altay selections remain separate decisions in the full journey. Choosing Ili C does not change those earlier sections or mean selecting a C option everywhere. Put the region name beside the letter in an enquiry so that everyone is discussing the same part of the product.

Start with the experience you most want to preserve
Yizhao Highway, the Jade Lake cruise and Xiata are subject to seasonal, weather and local operating conditions. For C, a useful explanation goes beyond a general “subject to change” note. Ask which condition could affect each day, what would remain in an adjusted visit and whether the overnight location would change with it.
If the water activity is the main reason for selecting C, ask the proposal to identify the boat arrangements and what happens if sailing is unavailable. If the lakeside night matters more, prioritise the property and room confirmation. If Xiata is essential, ask first about the areas reached and the form of the visit. Putting questions in the order of your priorities makes the answers easier to evaluate.
Ask for replacement arrangements to be written into the same Tianfu itinerary, with boat, dinner, hotel and road changes shown together. If one element changes, you can then see its effect on the connections across these five days without piecing together separate messages.
Separate the charges before comparing proposals
Page 45 of the customer material lists a C supplement, establishing that this regional choice needs separate treatment in the price discussion. This article does not treat a source-document amount as a currently binding quotation. Ask the team to identify the applicable charge, the number of people charged, the activities and accommodation included, and the treatment of operating changes.
The basic train cabin fare, a single-room supplement for the ground section and the C selection are different items. When party size changes, room allocation, ground vehicles and any child or third-person arrangements should also be explained separately. A total figure is only comparable when the services behind it are clear.
Provide a date, party size, cabin preference and the Jade Lake or Xiata experience that matters most. Then request the complete five-day arrangement with its price breakdown. That produces a proposal you can examine item by item.
Questions worth asking
Can I select just the Jade Lake night from C?
This article covers the full D6 to D10 Ili–Kuqa choice within the 16-day product. It does not establish a separately sold one-night lake package. Any different combination needs its own explicit proposal.
Will I receive the terrace room in the Muzitao photograph?
The customer image illustrates the accommodation setting. The hotel page specifies Muzitao or equivalent. The property, assigned room, balcony and view should be identified in the final accommodation confirmation.
Does C include a night at Hotel Indigo Sayram?
The current C schedule visits Sayram on D8 and connects to the train for Kuqa that evening. The lake hotel night appears in the A and B reference tables and should not be imported into C.
Are the cruise and sunset dinner on the same boat?
The material lists two experiences without guaranteeing that dinner is served on board. Confirm the dining venue, boat arrangements, timing and the plan if weather changes the programme.
C changes pace across its five days: time near a lake, a mountain visit, a railway transfer and then the town of Kuqa and cultural sites. Name the part of that time you most want to preserve, and ask for accommodation, activities and charges to be explained around it.
