Common questions

Do the 30 places mean a private train charter?

No. Indonesia coordination and China ground services are arranged for the Jakarta group, but Jinxiu Tianfu remains a shared scheduled departure. The group has 30 reserved places, not a private charter.

How are D0, the 20-day journey and Train Days counted?

D0 is the Jakarta departure night on 28 September. Day 1 begins in Chengdu on 29 September and Day 20 is 18 October. Train Day 1 is 2 October and Train Day 16 is 17 October.

Is Duku Highway included on this October departure?

It is not included in the current October plan. On Train Day 8, Route A returns from Nalati to Yining and continues to Kuqa by train; breakfast and lunch on Train Day 9 are served on the train.

Can the route modules be combined freely?

No. Urumqi, Altay and Ili–Kuqa are selected from the available options; Kashgar and Pamir are the shared fixed stage. Route B combines the Kalajun and Kurdining grasslands.

Can halal, vegetarian or allergy requests be handled?

Yes. We record the request and seek confirmation from the relevant suppliers. Specific meals are confirmed in writing before they are treated as included.
